Privacy policy
This policy covers the Consistency app for Android and this website, consistency.refactrix.com. Both are made by Refactrix. In short: the app works without an account, there are no ads and no analytics, and we never sell your data.

Using the app without an account
Your tasks, schedules, ticks and amounts are stored only on your phone. The app downloads the day's quotes, which are the same for everyone and carry none of your data.
With an account
Signing in is optional. It backs up your data and lets you use it on another phone. When you have an account, we store:
- Your email address, and the name you give.
- If you sign in with Google: the name, email address and profile picture from your Google account.
- Your tasks: their names, schedules, daily ticks and amounts.
We use this only to run your account and keep your data in sync. Each account can reach only its own data. We don't use it for advertising, sell it, or share it with anyone except the services below that run the app for us.
Google sign-in
If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google. We use them only to create your account and show who you're signed in as. We don't ask for access to anything else in your Google account, and we don't pass Google data to anyone for advertising.
On your phone
Sign-in details are stored encrypted on the phone. Android's own app backup is turned off, so without an account, uninstalling the app removes your data.
The app asks for two permissions: Internet, for quotes and backup, and Set wallpaper, for the streak wallpaper. It shows no ads, contains no analytics or crash-reporting tools, and sends no notifications.
This website
The website has no ads, no analytics and no tracking cookies. It remembers your light or dark theme choice in your own browser. Downloads come from our file storage at Supabase. The only cookies are for signing in to the site's admin area, which only our team uses.

Keeping and deleting your data
We keep account data until you delete your account. In the app, open Get help and tap Delete account: your account and all its data are permanently removed from our server. You can choose to keep everything on the phone, and the app keeps working without an account. You can also ask us to delete it, using the email below.
Changes
If this policy changes, we update this page and the date at the top.
